RMS TRAFFIC CONTROLLER BLUE CARD (STOP/SLOW)
To take part in this course, please ensure you bring the following:
- Your drivers licence (minimum Green P), or equivalent from overseas, or an RMS print out of your driving record (confirming Green P or higher)
- Note that if providing a licence from overseas, it must verify that you have been driving a vehicle on your own, without the need for another fully licenced passenger in the vehicle with you, for at least 12 months.
- If your licence is not written in English, it must be accompanied with an official translation from the Community Relations for a multicultural NSW or the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC - phone 131 450) and must have an issue date of minimum 12 months prior to the date of training.
AND
- A NSW WorkCover issued Contruction Induction Statement of Training/Card (White Card), or interstate equivalent. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU HAVE OBTAINED THIS FROM INTERSTATE YOU MUST PROVIDE US WITH THE CARD OR OFFICIAL WORKCOVER STATEMENT OF TRAINING - AN RTO STATEMENT OF TRAINING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS WE NEED TO RECORD THE CARD NUMBER ISSUED TO YOU
- Please contact us if you are unsure about this. If arrving on the day without this we will only be able to issue you with a grey card & additional card fees will be applied by the RMS when you upgrade to the Blue Card. To view information regarding interstate CICs please click here
- If you do not hold a White Card, you may still take part in the course however will be issued with an RMS Grey Card instead of the Blue. The Grey Card does not allow you to control traffic in areas that involve construction.
- Note that if you currently hold a NSW Traffic Controller Blue Card (expired within the last 2 years), you may also take part in this course without the need to provide the above documents.

RMS TRAFFIC CONTROLLER BLUE CARD (STOP/SLOW)
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an RMS approved Statement of Completion which can be used to work immediately in the interim to receiving your RMS Blue Card which will be mailed directly to your nominated address by the RMS. The qualification will be valid for 3 years.
RMS TRAFFIC CONTROLLER BLUE CARD (STOP/SLOW) (Statement of Training issued on the day upon successful completion - work immediately)
Licensed by the NSW Roads & Maritime Service (RMS - previously known as the NSW RTA - Roads & Traffic Authority), this course provides training for those required to control traffic with a STOP/SLOW bat. Participants will learn the knowledge, skills & attitude required to perform traffic control safely.
Please note that to take part in this course, you must have a reasonable command of English. If you believe you may need assistance with language, literacy or numeracy, please contact us prior to making a booking.

PRE REQUISITES / WHAT TO BRING
A blue pen.
NSW WorkCover Construction Induction Certificate (White Card) or interstate equivalent. (Please ensure you bring a WorkCover Statement of Attainment showing the WorkCover logo OR your Construction Induction Card - Statements of Attainment from training organisations are not accepted).

WHEN
9.00am every Thursday & Saturday (public holidays excluded). Course duration approximately 7 hours dependant on participant numbers. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to course start time to allow for pre course administration.
