Please ensure you bring one form of photo ID with you as is a requirement to commence the course.

To obtain your RSA photo card you will need to present your Statement of Training and 100 points of ID at an Australia Post outlet. The following link provides an example of the Statement of Training with page 2 showing a list of the ID that Australia Post will accept - click here.

PROVIDE RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL SITHFAB009A

Upon successful completion of the course you will be issued with a NSW OLGR RSA Interim Certificate & an Infront Staffing Statement of Attainment for Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol SITHFAB009A.  You may choose to have these emailed to you or take with you at the completion of the course.

Your OLGR RSA Certificate will allow you to work immediately, but is only valid for 90 days, therefore you will need to visit an Australia Post outlet within this timeframe to apply for your RSA photo card. Your photo card will then be mailed to your nominated address.  The RSA photo card is valid for five years.

Replacement of OLGR Certificates & Infront Statement of Attainment:

Please note that should replacement OLGR Certificates or Infront Statement of Attainment be required, a $33 (incl GST) fee will be charged.

PROVIDE RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL SITHFAB009A (Certificates issued on the day upon successful completion - work immediately)

Approved by the NSW Office of Liquor Gaming & Racing, this course is mandatory for all people involved in the retail sale, supply or service of liquor in licensed venues in NSW. Topics covered during the course are the Context of RSA, Legislative Framework, the Impacts of Alcohol Abuse, RSA Strategies and RSA Outcomes.

Please note that to take part in this course, you must have a reasonable command of English. If you believe you may need assistance with language, literacy or numeracy, please contact us prior to making a booking.  All participants will be required to take a very short quiz prior to the commencement of the course to ensure that a sufficient level of English and numeracy can be demonstrated. Again, please contact us prior to booking if you may need assistance in this area.

DURATION

1 day (OLGR Interim certificates issued on the day upon successful completion allowing you to work immediately - note: online courses do not issue certificates immediately). 

PRE REQUISITES / WHAT TO BRING

On the day of your course: One form of  photo ID is required to take the course (and a pen).

To Australia Post when applying for your photo card: 100 points of ID will be required at Australia Post when applying for your photo card after the course has been successfully completed.

WHEN

9.30am Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays (public holidays excluded).  Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to course start time to allow for pre course administration.

RECOGNISED

In NSW & WA. Each state has different rules relating to recognition of the NSW RSA qualification. A bridging unit or application will be required depending on which state you go to. Not recognised in SA.
