Please ensure you bring one form of photo ID with you as is a requirement to commence the course.

 

To obtain your RCG photo card you will need to present the Statement of Training issued to you upon successful completion of the courese and 100 points of ID at an Australia Post outlet.

Upon successful completion of the course you will be issued with a NSW OLGR RCG Interim Certificate & an Infront Staffing Statement of Attainment for Provide Responsible Gambling Services SITHGAM006A.  You may choose to have these emailed to you or can take with you on the day.

Your NSW OLGR RCG Certificate will allow you to work immediately, but is only valid for 90 days, therefore you will need to visit an Australia Post outlet within this timeframe to apply for your RCG photo card. Your photo card will then be mailed to your nominated address.  The RCG photo card is valid for five years. 

Replacement of OLGR Certificates & Infront Statement of Attainment:

Please note that should replacement OLGR Certificates or Infront Statement of Attainment be required, a $33 (incl GST) fee will be charged.

Approved by the NSW Office of Liquor Gaming & Racing, this course is mandatory for all people working in the NSW Gaming Industry.  Topics covered during this course are - The Context of Gambling in NSW, Legislative Framework for RCG in NSW, The Indicators and Impacts of Problem Gambling, Methods of Implementing RCG practices and the Benefits of Implementing RCG practices.

Please note that to take part in this course, you must have a reasonable command of English. If you believe you may need assistance with language, literacy or numeracy, please contact us prior to making a booking.  All participants will be required to take a very short quiz prior to the commencement of the course to ensure that a sufficient level of English and numeracy can be demonstrated. Again, please contact us prior to booking if you may need assistance in this area.

DURATION

1 day (Interim certificate issued on the day upon successful completion allowing you to work immediately).

PRE REQUISITES / WHAT TO BRING

On the day of your course: One form of photo ID is required to take the course (and a pen).

To Australia Post when applying for your photo card: 100 points of ID will be required at Australia Post when applying for your photo card after the course has been successfully completed.

WHEN

9.30am every Wednesday (public holidays excluded).  Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to course start time to allow for pre course administration.
